Sometimes I feel like I am different people; my views are so diverse and incomprehensible; is this just plain cognitive dissonance or do I truly have multiple personality disorder? Can you help?

Posted by: at September 13, 2003 4:22 PMDear Anonymous,
Don't freak out and check into hospital. It's impossible to tell over the web. You do need to see a really good therapist who can help you with your concerns.I have DID and am very nearly well.
Good luck

i have been told that i dave dissociative disorder but i have been doing research on it and my symtoms seem to be very different to other people. i hae been seeing teh school counsellor but in australia mental illnesses like this are not recognised and doctors have no idea what i am talking about when i describe my problems.
