I pretend to be straight for the sole reason that I don't think my parents could stand the thought of both their sons turning out gay. Also, I think an old friend of mine plans to kill me when I go to visit him in the summer.

And by the way, you need to choose better "friends": someone who wants to kill you really doesn't qualify as a friend.
