Posted by anonymous at September 15, 2005 2:12 PMSounds good, actually, but I can't wrap my mind around the concept of salsa being anything other than that wonderful, tomatoey goodness you dip tortilla chips in.
Posted by: at September 16, 2005 7:15 AMThis can also be considered a relish. Try and wrap your mind around that. I guess that you could dip some chips in it. I would recommend high quality tortilla chips such as blue corn.

Posted by: at September 16, 2005 9:32 PMSorry Chef Vador does not eat factory made cookies.
You will have to try that one yourself. Personally I think it will taste bad. Vador creates all of the food that he and his children consume from basic ingredients. Vador does not trust the ready made food companies. The government allows too many foreign substances to be present. Rat turds, Saw dust, Animal hair, Etc. . . .
Oh thanks! Way to suck the joy right out of my pleasurable Oreo and lemonade eating experiences.
I don't think I'll ever eat those rat turd, sawdust, animal hair filled Oreos again...hmmm...or at least, today.
:)
I still love me OReos. "Double stuff" takes on new meaning now. heeee!
Try baking your own cookies. This can be a rewarding experience. It is also a skill that will help get you through the post apocalyptic world that our great cowboy king is bound to lead us into.
Posted by: at September 18, 2005 10:44 AMOh, boy, previous commenter, you struck a nerve with that one. I've always said that we musr preserve the old ways, because we will need them again. Now that Emperor Bush is in power, that is true, oh so true. We will soon be bombed back into the stone age. But I'm drunk; what do i know?

Ok, I see that my lame attempts at humor are wasted on you so I'll answer seriously.
I do happen to know how to make cookies as well as many other baked items. Just yesterday, on my one and only day off in two weeks, I baked an apple pie (using real apples, not canned) for my mom's birthday. It turned out yummy.
Store bought cookies make me appreciate homemade cookies even more!
Home made food rules. It is also safe. It is hard to trust the food industry these days. Your humor is also very cute. Don't let me piss in your Oreos.
