My dipshit neighbor has several trees that are very close to my house. They scrape my gutters and make a huge mess.
I am going to kill them with salt.

Just because the trunks are on his side of the property line doesnt give him the legal right to damage your property. I would look into it. Call the bourough, or township office and ask if there is anything that can be done.
But killing the trees is illeagle, especialy as you will make the ground there unsuitable for anything else to grow.
