My roommate's fiancee came over today and cleaned the house. This includes doing the dishes--he cleaned the bathroom. I feel a bit replaced. I clean for a living, but today was my day off. I clean my own house on my day off. I feel like she did it wrong. I feel guilty for not doing it myself.

Why is she replacing me?

I don't want to be mean, but I hope they break up before they get married. It's not going to last, even if she is pregnant.

Hi, I stumbled on your site. I did housecleaning for a living till about a year ago...now I am lucky enough to have a housekeeper!!!

I love having someone else do the work... and btw.. I always feel it is NOT good enough! That is "always" gonna be true!!! But so what. I know I don't want to do it... why would you want to clean on your day off???

Go out to the park or something...have fun! Take the day offffff

I have to wonder whether you have feelings for your roommate. That last little jibe---"it's not going to last, even if she is pregnant."---is what gives you away, along with that feeling you have of being "replaced."

too bad... you ain't good enough for her in the first place, else it'll be your kids you are carrying dreamer-wiener-dude.

you are seriously fucked in the head, go see a shrink or something. whats this about 'replacement'? you think you own her or something?

gee... i think you better see the doc quick... i fear for your roommate.
