Math makes me feel so miserable
i wish to figure everything out by myself and learn at my own pace, but to complete this without any sort of help is very frustrating and time consuming, time which I don't have enough of
its got to the point where its discouraging especially when I finally want help and can't get any because its too late now
Posted by anonymous at April 23, 2006 8:13 PMSo get a tutor. Honestly, math is a very logical subject to study. It has its rules, which are inflexible. Next time, start actually paying attention in class and take notes.
It is my experience that every math textbook gives you the formulae that you need to solve any equation.I have helped kids with math homework very successfully even when I didn't have a clue---all I had to do was to refer to the beginning of the chapter the equations came from. So next weekend, instead of sitting in front of your computer, try sitting at a desk with a math book and really studying it, chapter by chapter. You say you wish to figure everything out by yourself---with math, you don't need to do that. It would really be taking the long way around, and very inefficient, since the formulae are already there for you. Math only works one way, and that way has already been figured out for you.
Quit swimming against the tide and STUDY.
Posted by: at April 24, 2006 5:01 AMTake it from me kid, you do not want to be trying to figure out math for yourself! Why waste time trying to figure out something that's already there for you.
I agree with the guy/girl above, crack open that book and get reading!
