FUcking screw up

why do I fuck everything up?

sorry. i'm very pissed with myself. i miss important meetings, displace my anger on my wife, forget about important projects until it's too late, ugh!

my wife recently "got saved" at the church her mother's been taking her to on sunday mornings. she's all over me about it.

sometimes, it gets down to the point that I need to either get saved or kill myself. I don't know which would be better.

would getting saved take my problems away?

if you want to be brainwashed by a religious machine and you think that will make you happy, then go for it.

my advice is that if you can't take control of your own life and you need the support of others to do it, there are alternatives to committing yourself to the childish worship of a false idol.

you can be an adult or an adolescent. its your call

Take 5 minutes breaks during the day, just a few of them, alone, in which you slow down, breathe in and out, training yourself to empty your mind of what's causing trouble and anger in your life. In the beginning it won't be easy, the mind is too active; but as you repeat those short breaks, your mind will gradually get used to calming itself down, and then gradually you will start regaining control over your life. If you don't believe me, just try it.

Ultimatly, its your choice what to do, but I suggest instead of agonizing over whether to try out going to church or not, just read the Bible. If your wife doesn't have one yet, she will probably get one soon. Just read it, and see what its about. Also, you should think about how your wife made the choice to believe.
