TODAY'S RECIPE

CHEF VAPOR’S RECIPE FOR DISASTER

Put your child in a bubble; do not let the nasty world
get anywhere close to them
Feed your child at least five “Happy Meals”, Five “Lunchables” and
five “Kid’s Cuisine” a week
Do not feed your child any vegetables such as, onions, beets, cabbage,
broccoli, spinach, green bell pepper, chili peppers of any kind or any other
of those veggies kids should not eat
Do not let your child participate in any sport or activity
where they might get hurt
Call the school and complain about the “schoolyard bully” that
keeps beating the crap out of your kid because you forgot
to teach him/her to stick up for themselves
Let other people baby-sit, look after and generally raise your child

Combine these ingredients any way that you wish and watch the weak, confused, introverted, obese, wimp emerge.

After reading the MSNBC web-log this morning and coming across an article about how several states have banned games like tag, touch football and dodge ball; I felt that this would be the subject of my post today. These games are being banned for various reasons including, school liability for injuries, inappropriate touching and bullying. What a bunch of crap. These games help toughen up a kid so they can be prepared for the difficult life that is ahead of them. The whole liability insurance thing is out of control. If our children are well supervised, why should we have to worry about inappropriate touching? Furthermore, the “schoolyard bully” is just an unpleasant fact. Getting rid of them is like trying to get rid of fleas. Additionally, these bullies always reap what they sow, if our children get knocked down on their ass it’s all right. They learn to get back up. It is up to the parents to teach children how to get back up and dust themselves off and to roll with the punches. This is an important lesson that is quickly being lost in our politically correct society. Certainly, we should keep our children safe, but in these times of out of control childhood obesity and related diseases, should we be banning activities like these?
Let the children play. They will work it out.

Thank You,
Master Chef Vapor

In the cloak of the night, a solitary figure in a cape climbs the cliffs surrounding the Kody Klan Kave. It is a Negroidal man. It is Indy's Manservant Leroy Cleophus Washington. Clenched in his teeth is a withered scroll. There is a message to deliver. He must prove his loyalty to Indy the Great his Massah by finding Kody Bear himself, and pronouncing the message all as one word.

He reaches the Kave's secret entrance, the entrance he has used for these months to deliver his spy reports, before he decided to return to Indy's side. He waves the Sekret Sign to the Kody Klan Royal Guard, and they allow him to pass. He creeps to the Royal Kody Chamber.

Massah Kody? Dat you? Oh Lord, wat you's be eatin' der?

Mind your business! And you did not use the word Esteemed!

Esteemed Kody Bear, I's is sorry. I's got's a message fo yu, and I's supposed to ponounces it all as one word's. Here go nuthin. *Ahem.* MostesteemedarchnemesispronouncedasonewordIIndytheGreatdoherebydeclarethat...

A bat comes from behind. Like Maxwell's silver hammer, it catches him unaware. The last thing that Manservant Leroy Cleophus Washington sees in this world is the wicked, grinning, bloodstained (pronounced as one word) face of a grinning Magogo Monkey.

Back in the catacombs (pronounced as one word) of Paris, Indy feels a shudder in the Force. Something has happened to Leroy,he knows. This means war. He lets out a wail of sorrow for his faithful manservant, and he pronounces that wail all as one word.

Who the fuck did that!? What is the purpose!? Would you have me believe that you accidentally copied and pasted someone else's post into this comment section?

Comment#1, as I said the schoolyard bully is an unpleasant fact. It is up to parents to have a good relationship with their children so as to detect these types of problems. I would hope that a good parent would be able to tell if his or her child was suicidal or deviant enough to plan something like shooting up the lunchroom or playground at school. The fact that these types of things do happen clearly show the erosion of the American family. We cannot expect the school system to step in and fix this problem. These problems must be fixed in the home.
#1, thanks for your thoughts.

Comment #2, you are an immature idiot. More than likely, you are one of the mental midgets who come here to read and have nothing to blog, only complaints. If so, your days of name-calling are over and I ask, this is all that you can come up with.
Please post something, anything original.
If you can, that is.

Stop it! Stop fighting!

As for schools' "zero tolerance" policy, they are turning our children into a bunch of pansies. By the way, you can't say the word "pansy" in school. You WILL get a one-day suspension for it. And gods forbid that a schoolyard bully attacks you: if you make ANY move to defend yourself, you get a suspension along with the attacker. I think you're in trouble if all you do as a result of being attacked is bleed. You don't even have to be at school to get in trouble; if you get in someone's face after the school bus drops you off at your house, and the bus driver sees it, the school gets involved. You get a suspension and/or are banned from riding the bus for a while---which does nothing except cause inconvenience for the parents. "Political Correctness" and zero tolerance policies suck. They are turning our children into victims rather than protecting them.

Which is bringing us back to why this is happening.
We could blame it on liberal and left of center policies and policy makers... sure why not. I hate dr spock for a number of reasons.
PTAs' are filled with parents that are too fueled with the righteousness of their own parenting style, as well as legislations over the past 50 years and psycho-bable of the child therapists that all together has given rise to this.
Parents alone can not fix this.
